The word “Africa” conjures up images of 4x4 safari trips to see the Big Five, endless savannah, mountains so high they seem to touch the sky, crystal clear coast, craters, the Great Rift Valley, and the River Nile to name but a few. Yet, without having spent time with the people of Africa, one has not seen the real living Africa.
