So what is your Quest? Are you looking for a travel experience with a difference, something which will open your eyes to a new reality. More importantly, are we the right people to to provide that for you? We have come to the conclusion that the best way to help you to establish that, is for us to explain what we are looking to achieve with trips overseas, and then you can decide for yourself whether our Quest is your Quest.

Our Quest

Quest’s approach to its projects and expeditions has always been twofold, to offer a fantastic experience to our guests and volunteers, but at the same time to ensure that the impact on all our contacts overseas, particularly our project partners, is a positive one. There are some organisations which are focussed on charitable work, and of course others which whose priority is that of the paying client. Our philosophy has always been that both parties are equally important.

Of course safety and security are paramount, as is a dedicated and professional level of support in the lead up to your departure overseas – we make sure we are with you every step of the way. On the ground as well, our support is second to none, every aspect of the trip is researched by our staff, from the hotels, vehicles and restaurants, to the theatres, bars and clubs.

Likewise, we work long and hard with our project partners to ensure the work being done by our teams is something tangible and worthwhile. It is important for our groups to be able to see not only that the work they are doing is making a significant difference, but that their contribution is part of an ongoing support for the local community and/or environment.

Giving Back

Whilst extra hands from keen volunteers are a huge help to our projects, little can be achieved without (well managed) substantial financial input into the projects. This is why, for every person which goes overseas with Quest, we make a significant donation direct to the project. This is to help ensure the short, medium and long term support for our projects are secured, and that the time and energy our teams contribute to the projects can be maintained and built upon at times when teams are not present.

You can rest assured that funds go directly to the grass roots of the project. Our charity Quest4Change takes no UK admin costs from the donations, EVERY PENNY goes directly overseas. Furthermore, the long term association with our projects allows participants, if they wish, to have a ongoing relationship with the project they have taken part in, either returning at a later date, or supporting from home with regular donations through our charity.

So that’s us. We believe you deserve the experience of a lifetime, but equally that our local project partners deserve the support they need to continue their extremely worthwhile work. If you feel the same, then our Quest is your Quest!
