Gap Fair Volunteers
We always need help from past QUEST volunteers to attend the various gap fairs and volunteer events / shows around the country. We need enthusiastic people to chat to future volunteers at various events and are happy to pay anyone who would like to help us out. The fairs are generally in the afternoon/evenings and last between 2 and 3 hours and we would always try to send you to fairs close to your home or University. Professional Internships
Two types of internships are offered throughout the year for people interested in gaining valuable experience in the expedition industry - marketing & operations.

Internships are 6 months long with 5 months working in the UK office under the guidance of either our operations or marketing department and one month overseas on one of our projects. Applicants must be over 18 years old with relevant interests and skills including experience of travelling or working in either Africa or South America. We need charismatic, computer literate students with a keen interest in the travel industry, conservation, expeditions and third world issues. For the marketing internship, you need to have good English skills and ideally an interest or some experience in marketing.

Please note that these positions are unpaid and you must provide your own accommodation although reasonable travel expenses and lunches are covered. All applicants will be considered and a shortlist for interviews will be made. UK Office Volunteers
The QUEST UK office is looking for a volunteer to help with our volunteer/student recruitment. We are looking for one ex-QUEST Africa volunteer and one ex-QUEST South America volunteer to help out with admin, student interviews & open days, equipment preparation, gap fairs, airport runs to see teams off and generally helping with telephone enquiries and brochure requests. We're looking for help for approximately 4 weeks with a minimum of 4 days per week. If you'd like to help out please contact Beth.
