Weeks 4 - 7 - Project Phase

Our next departure dates for this immersion and project are;
15th April 2008
13th April 2009

First 3 weeks - Brazil Immersion and Language Phase
This phase will be different each day but will include a mix of classroom sessions and getting out to practice your skills. Afternoons will be spent within the community of Candeal, learning Carnival-style drumming and Capoeira, as well as exploring the surrounding city. Evenings will be spent on social activities and getting to know each other as a team.

Weekend One
Explore exotic Salvador de Bahia, with its colourful markets, lively nightlife and beautiful colonial buildings.

Weekend Two
You'll head up the coast to Praia do Forte to relax on some stunning beaches, enjoy a jeep safari and visit a turtle sanctuary.

Weekend Three
A huge farewell party for the community of Candeal. Last year's team went to the beach for a farewell BBQ - much fun was had!
